Every Plane!

So I started watching this video and was hooked off the bat! Tricia Miranda is an amazing choreographer. I love the change of levels from standing to on the ground. Oh, and the part where they pull their pockets outside fo their pants killed me. I didn't catch it the first time I watched but the second time I did.

Switched it Up

So, some of you don't know but I'm in love with Carnival but this is the first video from Carnival I've ever posted. I posted this one in particular because I like the song and the extensions are amazing, and the choreography kinda goes with the song. Oh, and the dancers seem to trust each other and to trust their own bodies. They dance from within, and I was actually a bit moved by the display.

New Fave!

Ok, so the guy's name is Romain Antonini and his work is AMAZING!! I've also posted one of his vids on UKUW and before long I'll reveiw it but I've been doing alot so, hold your horses. Uh, let's see, oh this video I found because I was searching dances to this song and just happened upon this one. I was immediately hooked by the way his crew all moved together like exactly the same, it was so smooth, and so together, and plus it has that sass factor that I've only now admitted to liking.
Oh, and I also love at the end how he didn't just make it choreo where every one's doing the same thing but those two came up and do their split thingy!

New Vid

So this guy who choreographed this video, I'm not sure of his name, but I think it's Kash. Umm, Anyways, I love the video and the way the dancers dance all the way like through their fingers it seems to me. They hit everything like uberly hard and it makes me smile actually. It has plenny of sass for my taste and the guy with the fro, who I think is the choreographer is dancing even with his hair.

I dunno

I don't know who chorographed this but I love it!

Remember my old project

I don't know if you people from the summer are still around but I was looking for all the different routines to Striptease by Danity Kane, and here's another to add.

Not sure

I'm not sure if this is Luam's or Jonte's choreopgrahy, I saw both of them in there dancing but I LOVE IT!

The next one is Jonte tho!

This is not a Miguel Fan Site

It's true that I have been not giving equal attention to cheoreographers, it's just that I have Miguel on my list and his vids come up constantly, and well he's always posting... Luam's back though and here are two of her videos!

I STILL HATE YOU!

Umm, yeah Miguel, I still do. Here are his last two videos.
The variety of his repetoire still astounds me and I think I shall say no more.

My School

These are the videos from my school that are not the new dance team that I could find... Don't worry I've filtered through that stupid sophomore and senior homecoming dance from last year, the one's up here should provide dancing entertainment.

I don't know if you guys remember the freshmen from last year but they MURDERED IT!! Take another look.

Right here is '09, my wonderful class. If you look hard enough you'll even see me. We did okay but, it wasn't nothing all that great. Oh, and by the way, I learned this day of.

My Lunch

The bell rings and I rush to pack all of my supplies into my bookbag before running to the cafeteria to get something to eat and then sprint to any meetings I may have, to rush tem along, before finally running to practice. This year is the first year our school is supposed to have a hip hop dance team and I got invited to dance with them on the first dance of the year.

Our Performance will be on Homecoming, at the Homecoming Pep Rally, in the middle of the gym in front of everyone. So far, I've learned choreography to 2 of the clips that we are doing and they aren't sure but we may be doing another. The performance is next Friday.

The choreographers are Gage and Connie 2 amazing sophomore dancers. I love the dance, and it's natural, and raw! Parts do remind me of my own choreopgrahy and Miguel's so that's always cool. I have to admit though that they do add a bit of street in it that both of us lack.

Hopefully some one will tape the performance, and put it up on YouTube, if they do I'll post it. On one part though, I do have to do a toe touch, but I'm still trumped by Gage's... I dunno, leg extension I guesssss, into a split. He does it like on When I Grow Up, his foot goes up, and then, he goes into a split while I got up to a toe touch. The songs so far are the breakdown to When I Grow Up and then like the beginning of a song called Whatever but some people call it Put Your Right Hand Up

STARTING NOW...

... I prolly won't be editing my blogs much any more for the simple fact that, I am supposed to be starting OD and focusing on geAK. When I do have time I'll edit as much as I can and I may put some of the OD stuff on here... I don't know right now..

CONTROL!

So I've been dancing ALOT recently and I've been getting better... in my opinion, I have anyways... I've like made up choreography to Striptease by Danity Kane, and I started some to Touching My Body by Danity Kane(I think that's the name), and I've also started some to some 65daysofstatic songs. They're my new passion. There are no words, and sometimes I make words in my head, but mostly I just have stories that I'm doing. One of the stories is like what happens after a toy store closes, I kinda like it. The toys are tired of being "played with". They are tired of people forcign them to do things and I try to make that evident in the dance. There are parts where it's like one of my hands controlls the other, and then for a second or two there's a fight with my hands. It's kinda crazy. I really like it though. I won't lie, because I'm only sorta creative, some of the moves come from the choreographers I've been watching, so sorry. Umm, I haven't videotaped and if I do, I won't post until I can get multiple people to do the dance with me... I'm now off to find some 65daysofstatic music actually.

Dance Post on UKUW

If you really like the clips you saw from A'Drey and Miguel, you might want to check my UKUW site. I reveiwed their reels, oh, and Miguel actually has a mini music video that I reveiwed.

The Miracle of Dance

So... I was on YouTube, again just looking around for some nice choreography, new music that was out... and I happened on some awesome choreographers! There were some nice dancers too who just did the choreography from the videos, but the three videos that you are about to see are from choreographers. The thing is, it's the same song. They are all doing different choreography, to the same exact song, and I just like that part. I thought it was interesting. Umm, on my UKUW blog, I do reveiw their reels.. well I think two of them have actual reels at the moment, and you can go to the sidebar of this blog to get to UKUW. I hope you like these.

Oh, and by the way, I moved the Luam choreo from Pointe them Out to here because it's the same song!

I love Miguel's choreo because it's just so perfect, so polished, and just sooooo good! It's contemporary, and I for one love contemporary dancing anyway, but it feels like I could fit parts into my hip hop! I actually got chills when I saw the actual like music video that he made for it... I'll probably post it on UKUW. But, I just really do love the choreo and the dancers he picked performed it very well.

So this one sounds a little bit weird, but it doesn't matter. Umm, I also love the choreography, they KILL IT HERE! Umm, it's not as sensual, and whereas Miguel like did softer things and then hit the beat this has like a little more... I can only think of the word staccato. Umm, let's see... oh yeah, the dancers are beast. The girl in the red top is killing it until the end, where she does a little mess up, but her determination does not falter so kudos. I really do love the entire thing though even with that.

I already commented about Luam. I don't remember what I said but it's pretty simple from looking over the choreo again. It seems so natural, so organic. It seems like it would make any one want to get up and do it. Also, the choreo is intricate but looks so effortless and easy that it makes you feel like you actually can get up and do it. This is partially do to the fact that she picked excellent dancers, and partially do to the choreography.

This one actually made me think of So You Think You Can Dance immediately and made me cringe a bit. I like it though. I really do like it. Like I said before, I really do like contemporary, and funky, and eery stuff, so this is actually right up my alley.

Pointe them out!

So I was browsing through YouTube, you know looking up some dance routines because to get better I have to be up on the latest stuff... you know, like music for one.... and I found these vids. Umm Spikey Lee, I LOVE! I watched a couple of his vids, and I like this one alot because although it's not hip hop or rap he's still dancing to it and there's something so wrong and off about the dancing, and like unreal, that it's really amazing!

The next one is 2 girls dancing an Evan Anderson routine and I have to say I really haven't heard of him, but once I saw the vid I wanted to see more. There's the necessary sass and the necessary quirkiness that peaks my interest!

The last one is Tristan K choreography and I got on it purely because it was When I Grow Up and I've been kind of choreographing a dance in my head, and I want to do certain things with my choreography but... I was wary about those things. Well this choreograhy incorporates some of those things, and has that over the top sass! I love that part, they all have the attitude, and even the grey sweat shirt girl is killing it. The guy does mess up but you probably won't catch it, I just have quick eyes. He does dance well, but he doesn't do it up like the girl with the black shirt and pants. So... enjoy
